Special Needs Planning from Birth to Early Adulthood

On March 30-31, 2012, Jane Skelton attended the spring meeting of the Special Needs Alliance (SNA) in Scottsdale, Arizona. The subject was Special Needs Planning from Birth to Early Adulthood. Topics included guardianship issues for children turning 18, transitioning from school to work and from home to independent living, life care planning, and the challenge of selecting trustees and guardians. The Special Needs Alliance is a national, not-for-profit organization of attorneys dedicated to the practice of disability and public benefits law. Many of the informative materials available from the SNA are available on our Web site on the Special Needs Trust page.
