New Year's Resolutions
January 5th, 2015
When we meet with new clients to discuss estate planning and long-term care planning, many say that they have meant to get documents drafted for years. Once the documents are finalized, those same people often express in various ways that they feel like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders. If you do not already have estate planning or long-term care planning documents prepared, how about making it your New Year's resolution to get it done in 2015? If you already have those documents prepared, it's a wise idea to look at them every two to three years to see if they still match your wishes and goals. Changes in your personal circumstances or the law may mean that it's time to meet again and see if your documents should be updated.
