Kristy Hapworth, Esq


Kristy M. Hapworth was born and raised in Burnham, Maine. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine in 2013, where she earned a bachelor of arts in Psychology, with a concentration in Abnormal Psychology. She also earned minors in Political Science, Legal Studies, and the Constitution and American Law.

During her time in Orono, she served as President of the school’s Pre-Law Society.

She graduated magna cum laude from The University of Maine School of Law with the class of 2016, and was awarded the Gignoux Award for Appellate Advocacy.

During her final year at Maine Law, she served as the co-chair of the school’s Moot Court Team, and worked as a student attorney in the Prisoner Assistance Clinic.

Kristy currently resides in Burnham with her husband Patrick. They love the Maine outdoors, particularly hiking and golfing in the summer, and skiing in the winter.

Kristy devotes her free time to candlepin bowling, traveling throughout New England and Canada to compete in leagues and tournaments.
